Families First strengthens families by developing positive parenting skills through education and support for those who parent children.

Who Are We?

Families First of Stark County, Inc. is a non-profit social service agency that strives to promote healthy family relationships by enhancing parenting skills through education, mentoring, parent-to-parent support and community resource collaboration. We have been helping families in Stark County since 1977 and are continuing to strengthen families across Northern Ohio .

H.U.G.S. (Help Understand Guide Support) offers many different parenting classes, support groups and family enrichment activities to strengthen family bonds. More.....

Parenting Classes Families First offers several options to help you become the best parent you can be. These casual and entertaining workshops include video tape modeling, class discussions and pertinent tips and techniques for raising children in today’s world. All of our classes are held at various locations throughout the year for a fee of $25.00. Childcare is available. Please contact us to add you name to the next available class. More.....
