H.U.G.S. (Help Understand Guide Support) is a program that provides education, support, and information for parents of children of all ages.
Moms Morning Out: a monthly support group bringing area mothers together to promote healthy families through parent education and support. Children are welcome and childcare is provided at all meetings. Please call the office if you are interested in more information or how to become involved with Mom’s Morning Out.
P.E.P. (Parents Enriching Preschoolers): a collaboration with the YMCA of Western Stark County, the Massillon Library and the Massillon Museum designed to bring families of preschoolers together, learn parenting tips, listen to story time and make fun crafts! P.E.P. Club is
funded in part with funds through Arts in Stark. Call Families First if you are interested in joining P.E.P.
Family Enrichment Activities: parent, child and family FUN activities are offered to help strengthen families as well as get a chance to meet other families.
Bear Card Program: a unique opportunity for new moms to network with other moms and become involved in the community. Volunteers are partnered with new moms to provide friendship, information and support. The Bear Card program can be implemented in any hospital or physician’s office. Please call to have the Bear Card program displayed in your office.
Do You Want to Volunteer? : H.U.G.S. volunteers can support new moms, help plan our many activities and provide childcare for parenting classes and meetings. Call Families First if you are interested is assisting H.U.G.S.
